To participate in the Dual Enrollment Program, high school students must:
- Attend a high school that participates in the Dual Enrollment Program
- Have junior or senior status and the recommendation of a high school guidance counselor
- Submit a Brookdale Community College application ( the $25 application fee is waived for Dual Enrollment applicants)
- Meet all eligibility requirements set by the College or have the following SAT/ACT scores:
- SAT
- SAT Math score of 530 to be waived from the math assessment
- SAT Evidence Based Reading & Writing score of 480 to be waived from the reading and writing assessments
- ACT
- ACT Math score 22 to be waived from the math assessment
- ACT Reading score 23 to be waived from the reading assessment
- ACT Writing score 8 to be waived from writing assessment
- Sign a Brookdale Community College release form (Student and parent will sign)
- Be responsible for all costs associated with the Dual Enrollment Release Program (tuition, books, fees and course materials)
- Provide their own transportation to and from Brookdale Community College
- Be held to the terms and conditions of the Brookdale Community College Student Conduct Code and Student Integrity Code. A student is subject to Brookdale’s sanctions if he/she is found to be in violation of the Brookdale Community College Student Conduct Code or Student Integrity Code.
- Maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in Brookdale Community College courses to remain in the Dual Enrollment Release Program
