Brookdale students and employees have a long history of standing up for what is right. This year, we want to harness the power of our community and take a firm stand against sexual violence, abuse and discrimination.
A recent study by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center found that more than 25 percent of all college women had experienced some form of unwanted sexual contact. The same study found that 90 percent of all campus assaults are never even reported.
To change those statistics, and to ensure that Brookdale remains a safe, welcoming environment for every single member of our community, we need your help. Rather than react to these crimes, our goal is to prevent them.
These webpages contain a wealth of information and resources designed to empower our students and employees in the fight against sexual crime and abuse. Whether on campus or at home, you truly can make a difference in the life of someone else. Step in, step up, and join us in the fight for change.
