The Tox—Princeton is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists (multiple positions available). FT/PT hours available.

The Tox Massage in Princeton, New Jersey are licensed massage therapists, qualified to perform The Tox Technique. They are skilled in their industry and open to continuous learning.

ABOUT THE TOX: The Tox is a national franchise that provides personal wellness studios focused on manual bodywork designed to promote the well-being of the digestive and lymphatic systems. With a unique blend of body and facial services, The Tox aims to detoxify the body and mind by stimulating the metabolism, reducing water retention, and ridding the body of excess toxins.

Job Responsibilities

-Provide services in line with The Tox training and protocols.

-Promote healthy practices and provide after-service care directions.

-Review client history prior to beginning treatment.

-Complete thorough photo documentation by taking before and after service photos. Complete all written documentation before and after service.

-Maintain client privacy.

-Communicate with clients, educate them on services, and provide recommendations on how to achieve optimal results.

-Educate clients on products and services that complement the treatment provided at The Tox.

-Establish long-term relationships with clients, following up to answer questions.

-Maintain a sanitary work environment, adhering to all OSHA standards.

-Communicate frequently with fellow team members to promote a seamless client experience and strong team identity.

-Communicate frequently with the manager to address questions and concerns.

-Ensure all required inventory items are in stock.

-Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

-High School Diploma or Equivalent

-Satisfies all licensing requirements of the State of New Jersey Massage and Bodyworks Board, including but not limited to:

Completion of a 500-hour massage and bodywork therapy program at an accredited school. The program must include at least 90 hours of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, as well as 100 hours of clinical practice.

-Pass the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) or the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) exam.

-Must be a licensed massage therapist in good standing within the state of New Jersey

-Reliable transportation

-Willingness to learn and take direction

-Possess a passion for wellness and making clients feel their best

-Punctual and attentive to details

-Confident, self-starter

-Friendly, with a sense of humor

-Marketing and sales experience a plus

Additional Information

Pay: From $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
