Brookdale was recently named the #4 Best Online Community College in the state of New Jersey by the SR Education group.

For the first time the rankings, published in March, were done by state. Community colleges that offered at least one online associate degree were considered eligible and were ranked according to criteria such as online enrollment percentage, retention rates, and affordability. The SR Education group has been publishing rankings of online colleges since 2009.

Brookdale currently offers seven of its most popular degrees completely online. They include: social science, psychology, history, sociology, political science, English, and liberal education. In addition, the college offers online and hybrid courses in a number of disciplines.

Brookdale was previously named the 13th best online college in the nation by BestColleges.com.
