IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM GED

While GED Testing Service has made the recommendation to change the passing score from 150 to 145, the State of New Jersey is still in the process of reviewing these recommendations. You still need to obtain a score of 150 on each subject until the state can formally approve the passing score change.

Each state has many factors to evaluate and processes to follow before a score change becomes official. It is important that you are aware of the score change recommendations, while keeping in mind that they have not yet been implemented in our state. This page will be up-dated once we have more information on the State’s decision and timeline.

We encourage you to continue testing and direct any questions to www.ged.com for more information.
