Georgian Court University
Brookdale and Georgian Court University (GCU) partner in the Dual Admissions Program which provides simultaneous admittance to both Brookdale and Georgian Court and entrance to Georgian Court’s bachelor’s degree programs. Dual Admissions is available for 2 + 2 Programs as well as the new 3 + 1 Programs offered by Brookdale and Georgian Court. Currently, upon earning an associate degree from Brookdale and meeting specified admission requirements, 2 + 2 students can transfer seamlessly to GCU and take GCU courses at Brookdale’s Hazlet location or at the Georgian Court campus in Lakewood. With the new 3 + 1 Programs, students earn an associate degree (60 credits) and stay at Brookdale to take mostly Brookdale courses for Year 3 (30 credits) at the Hazlet or Lincroft Campus and take year four at the GCU Hazlet or Lakewood campus. Students transferring to Georgian Court campus in Lakewood are eligible for the Guaranteed Admissions Initiative which offers Brookdale graduates guaranteed admission to all academic programs offered at Georgian Court University’s Lakewood campus and a guaranteed dollar amount based on the cumulative grade point average (CGPA) upon enrolling at Georgian Court University. Students must enroll full-time at Georgian Court. Students transferring to the Georgian Court University programs offered through Brookdale’s University Partnerships program receive flat rate discounted tuition.
The Guaranteed Award by cumulative grade point average for the Guaranteed Admissions Initiative is applied to GCU’s annual tuition rates, which are typically published each spring.
