Welcome! You have taken one step on the path to becoming a global citizen, where a meaningful and rewarding adventure awaits! The Global Citizenship Project (GCP) at Brookdale can provide you with opportunities (both curricular and extracurricular): (1) to discuss global and local issues, (2) to promote awareness within our college community, and (3) to effect positive change in our world.

Students Graduate with Global Citizenship Distinction (GCD)!
Complete 12 credits of globally focused courses as part of your degree and participate in a variety of co-curricular events and experiences while completing an e-portfolio. Contact Dr. Terry Konn, tkonn@brookdalecc.edu or complete the Global Distinction Registration Form to sign-up.

Get involved!
Students can also get involved in our “Students for Global Citizenship” (S4GC) Club. Brookdalians and community members can get involved by attending IEC events. All of of us can become active in community service projects and organizations that aid non-profits with worthy missions. Brookdale faculty and staff can get involved by attending Global Citizenship Project (GCP) meetings and by incorporating global issues into the curriculum.
