Admitted Student Day

What is Early Bird?

Early Bird is a registration program designed to ensure high school seniors make a smooth transition into the Brookdale community. The Office of Admissions works closely with local high schools to make information, applications, and early placement testing available to students. Interested students should ask their guidance office about Early Bird participation.

Early Bird itself occurs in May or early June. Students who are applied and tested (or waived from testing) are invited to participate (typically the same day as the rest of their high school classmates) in the Early Bird Program. Those attending Early Bird sessions are guaranteed to secure the required program courses they need for their first Fall semester.

What steps do I need to take?

If you’re a high school senior, there are only a few steps you need to take to make sure you become part of the Early Bird program at Brookdale. They are:

1.  Apply to Brookdale Community College

Use the online application, simply create an account and fill out the application.

2.  Send in your High School transcript, any SAT or ACT Scores.

3.  College Placement Test

To attend Early Bird, you must complete your College Placement testing by the end of April of your senior year. Click here for a list of high schools and testing dates. Check with your High School Guidance office for more information or contact The Office of Admissions at 732-224-1857.

4.  Attend your Early Bird Registration Day

Students who have completed the above steps will be invited to attend an assigned Early Bird date based on their high school. Click here for a list of high schools and their registration dates.  The dates will run from May until June and will take place on the Lincroft Campus. Should you have any questions, please contact the Office of Admissions at 732-224-1857.
