International Students (students in F-1 status) are charged tuition at the out-of-state rate. For one academic year (2 semesters), the expected fees and expenses are the following:

Tuition and Fees $  7,645
Living Expenses $15,150

Total $24,795
  • For each dependent, add $4,480

You will pay tuition and fees after you have arrived and registered for your classes.

International students are not eligible to apply for Federal Financial Aid. However, our tuition is significantly less than that of a four year college or university. This allows you to save a lot of money during the first two years of your university education in the U.S.

Tuition and fees are subject to change. Please be aware that fees are higher for Automotive, Culinary, Nursing, and  Radiological Technology programs. Please email international@brookdalecc.edu for details.

Acceptance to Brookdale

If you meet the admission requirements, the International Education Center will send you a letter of acceptance and an I-20 form.  You will use both of these documents to apply for a student visa at the U.S Embassy or Consulate in your home country or to apply for a change of status (to F-1) if you are currently in the U.S.
