The Smart Contracts – Blockchain Applications course gives learners the core technical skills needed to build smart contracts on the blockchain. They will gain invaluable technical knowledge from leading developers on the process of creating, testing and launching smart contracts across a number of blockchains.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, learners can gain relevant hands-on experience through labs and assignments using Oracle’s Hyperledger Fabric platform as well as Solidity. What is the career outlook for Blockchain?

According to Hired, an average salary for a blockchain developer is between $150,000 and $175,000 per year. To compare, an average software engineer salary stands at $137,000 per year. The highest blockchain developer salary can be found in the San Francisco Bay Area – $162,288.

There’s been a 517% increase in demand for software engineers with blockchain development skills in the past year, according to a new report from job search site Hired. Blockchain engineers were followed by security engineers and embedded engineers, which saw 132% and 76% year-over-year growth, respectively.

By 2022, worldwide spending on blockchain solutions will reach $11.7 billion. The global blockchain technology market is estimated to accumulate $20 billion in revenue by 2024. The number of registered blockchain wallets in the first quarter of 2020 was 47.14 million.
