The Brookdale Community College Nursing Program offers a comprehensive and challenging curriculum that fulfills the requirements for an Associate Degree in Applied Science and prepares its graduates for entry-level nursing positions in hospitals or comparable facilities. The curriculum integrates clinical learning experiences each semester. Graduates of the program are eligible to take for the National Council Licensing Exam for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN). Passing the NCLEX-RN exam results in licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) The Brookdale Community College Catalog page of nursing provides additional information about all required courses and a suggested sequence for 5-semester program completion.
