AMSL 101: American Sign Language I (3 cr.)
This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of American Sign Language with particular attention to the grammar of the language and the culture of American deaf persons. This course will create a solid foundation of basic conversational skills and a command of the essentials and grammatical principles of the language. Students will participate in exercises to develop skills which are significant to this visually-based language.
AMSL 102: American Sign Language II (3 cr.)
This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of American Sign Language with particular attention to the grammar of the language and the culture of American deaf persons. Students will participate in exercises to develop skills which are significant to this visually-based language.
