The South Jersey Paralegal Association was founded in 1980 to provide professional support, expand recognition of the paralegal profession, offer continuing legal education, facilitate improvements in paralegal educational programs, and promote the paralegal image through interaction with members of the legal profession, paralegal educational institutions and the public. Central Jersey Paralegal Association Merged with the Legal Assistants Association of New Jersey effective July 1, 1999.
