Man wearing a big smile and a gray suit and tie.Steve Clayton is a proud former Brookdale student (first-generation college student), and later graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in History & Sociology from the University of Maryland-College Park and after a career in financial services, he went to graduate school at Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned his Master of Science in Public Policy & Management. Clayton has worked for industry leaders in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Presently he is the Director of Development for a statewide nonprofit that works to ensure that every child in the state can grow up safe, healthy, and educated.

Clayton is excited to serve as a Trustee for an institution that is vital to Monmouth County, its students, and its economy. Clayton hopes to ensure that today’s students are given the same opportunities as he was fortunate enough to have received.
