II. Objective of Regulation

To promote fulfillment of its objective of utilizing the total community as a laboratory, and in placing students wherever practicable in a real world laboratory, the College will in all possible instances utilize student help as part of the staff in conducting its daily operations.

III. Authority

Board of Trustees Policy No. 6.2000

IV. Regulation Statement

A. The minimum base pay for on-campus employment will be at least consistent with federal and state minimum wage guidelines, whichever is greater.

B. Actual pay rates will be established upon review and approval of the President.

C. Budgetary allotments for student personnel will be established upon approval of the College budget. In the use of these funds, prevailing rates of pay for student personnel will be subject to review and adjustment during preparation of the College budget, or at the discretion of the President.
