Woman with blond hair wearing her graduation cap, gown and regalia.Rebekah Fischoff, our Graduate Trustee for the 2023-2024 academic year, brings a distinctive perspective and an unwavering dedication to Brookdale Community College. Rebekah is currently majoring in Business Administration through the Brookdale-Rutgers partnership program. While at Brookdale, she excelled academically and played a pivotal role in various initiatives, including her outstanding contributions to the Peer Mentoring Program. Rebekah actively participated in the Honors Program and served as the Vice President of Scholarship for Brookdale’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK), known as Alpha Pi Theta. Her remarkable achievements were not limited to the local level, as she garnered recognition at both regional and international levels for her contributions to Brookdale’s proposed Peer Mentoring Program.

“I feel I bring to the position of Graduate Trustee a unique perspective,” she said. “In that role, I continue to aid in the development of the Peer Mentoring Program, work with expanding the visibility and scope of the Honors Program and in transferability pathway awareness.”

Her dedication extends beyond the classroom; Rebekah has contributed significantly to her community through an internship with State Senator Vin Gopal and serves as the office manager for a wealth management firm. As a representative of our diverse student body, she ensures their voices are heard by the Board of Trustees.

In her free time, Rebekah enjoys beach days, photography, reading, and exploring the world through travel videos. Her recent travels in Israel showcase her adventurous spirit and love for new experiences. Rebekah’s role as Graduate Trustee promises a year of growth, advocacy, and positive change for our college.
