Brookdale is the county college of Monmouth County, New Jersey – a diverse county with approximately 648,000 residents. Brookdale offers AA, AFA, AS, and AAS degrees in 68 academic programs including options, 4 Academic Credit Certificates, and 11 Academic Credit Certificates of Achievement. In addition, non-degree courses/non-credit courses are offered through Brookdale’s Office of Continuing & Professional Studies. This division also provides courses that are specially tailored to meet the training needs of local businesses.

Most of the credit and non-credit programs are offered at our centrally-located main campus in Lincroft, as well as regional locations in Freehold, Wall Township, Neptune, and Long Branch. Classes and training can also be made available in places of work or in local high schools. Brookdale also offers fully online degree programs in Business Administration, English, History, Liberal Arts, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Social Sciences. A fully online Academic Credit Certificate of Achievement is available in Cybersecurity.

Noncredit Open Enrollment:

9,262 enrollments (duplicated headcount); reflecting 4,726 individuals. Approximately four out of 10 (3,839 or 41.4%) enrollments were in vocational or career-oriented courses, and 6 out of 10 (5,423 or 58.6%) were in avocational or “leisure” courses. The 4,726 individuals enrolled for a total of 305,377.1 contact hours or 678.6 FTEs.

Customized Training Courses:

417 course sections were delivered to 352 different companies;
1,613 participants enrolled for a total of 60,120 hours of training
